Access to UniTrento Discovery electronic resources is granted to institutional users (teachers, researchers, phd students, students and anyone else with an unitn account) and to all library users, even if not University members. For the latter, consultation is subject to restrictions.
Access for institutional users
To access the library electronic resources (e-journals, databases, ebooks) it is necessary to use your university password at the beginning of the session or when requested. It can be accessed not only form the university premises but also from off campus (e.g. from home). Access is possible either via the catalogues of databases, periodicals and e-books or in a simplified way through federated authentication, that is, by accessing with the institutional login directly on the publisher’s website. If you use Unitrento Discovery from an external network, in order to access all results, you must authenticate yourself by clicking Login and entering your credentials.
Access for non-institutional users
External users can access the Library e-resources from the fixed workstations located in the library halls, after registering at the library front desk. Use of the terminals is not subjected to reservation.
