Who can use the electronic resources of the library?

Electronic resources are accessible to both  internal and external users. Off-campus access is limited to internal users; in BUC, University external users may access to computers or connect their internet enabled devices to the University network through SPID..

How do I access electronic resources of the library?

From pc in the University buildings there's no need of authentication; from home I must use my personal account. Some databases, e-journals and e-books are accessible trought VPN.

Who can I address for authentication problems?

Students who have forgotten their password must addrress to the student secretary's office of their department, showing their identity card.

How can I save data?

Each database has its own way of saving data, which is usually shown in the online help.

How can I print data?

It is better first to save data on your computer and then print. If not possible, use the print functions of the database, after checking that the system can address data to your printer.

Why should I use databases?

Databases provide a vast number of documents  that may be searched by key words; the result of the research may display only the bibliographic entry and a short abstract. Sometimes, a link to the full text is provided.

Can I access electronic resources with a mobile device?

Some databases, e-journals and e-books are accessible from mobile devices, using specific websites or apps.
