Book location
At the BUC - Central University Library, access and borrowing rules depend on where book and journals are placed:
Open shelf volumes: they are directly accessible by the user.
Volumes stored in Deposito 1: they can be requested by filling the online form. They are available 15 minutes after the request
Volumes stored in Deposito 2: they can be requested by filling the online form (if you want to collect them at the BUC) or directly at the Cavazzani Study Room, where the Deposito 2 is located.
Request for volumes stored in Deposito 2 - Online form
Books are available as follows:
from Monday to Friday:
- After 10 am for requests sent before 9 am
- After 1 pm for requests sent before 12.00
- After 5 pm for requests sent before 4 pm
- After 8 pm for requests sent before 19 pm
Saturday:
- After 10 am for requests sent before 9 am
- After 1 pm for requests sent before 12.00
Volumes stored in the Inama Section of the Deposito 2 requested during the morning will be available in the afternoon after 3 pm; those requested in the afternoon will be available the morning of the following day.
Volumes must be collected by 11.45 pm of the working day following the request.
Request for volumes stored in Deposito 2 - Circulation desk
Requests must be submitted at the Circulation desk of the Cavazzani study room filling in a paper form from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 12.00.
Books (including those borrowed at the BUC) can also be returned into the box in the Study Room.
Direct consultation of journals stored in the repositories
For large consultations of one or more journals you can access
to Depot 1: from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 19.00
to Depot 2: Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 12.00
Access to the deposits must be booked by phone (0461 28 30 11) or by e-mail bibliotecacentrale@unitn.it

Consultation of ancient and valuable books
Ancient and valuable books are stored in the Deposito 2 and can be consulted in the Cavazzani study room from Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 12.00. For information: BUC - Central University Library (0461 28 3011 bibliotecacentrale@unitn.it); Cavazzani study room (0461 283012).
Microfilm consultation
A microfilm and microfiche reader is available for users at Cavazzani Study Room.
The screenshots can be digitally saved (PDF, JPEG and TIF) on a user’s USB stick. It is not possible to print the screenshots directly from the reader.
